Spaces children feel at home in.
We choose our learning environments with care. The right space makes a real difference to how a child settles, engages, and grows.
Each environment serves a purpose
We match children to environments thoughtfully — considering their sensory needs, their social confidence, and what kind of learning will work best for them right now.
Roper Yard
Our main base, at Roper Yard, Canterbury, is a structured, consistent environment with specialist resources, one-to-one sessions, and a warm, experienced team.
Roper Yard is home to academic tutoring, SEN support, exam preparation, and emotionally supported learning across all key stages. It is purpose-designed for focused, supported learning.
Maypole Farm
Nature, animals, and open space on the old Maypole Airfield near Hoath. A working farm site where learning breathes. Perfect for children who find closed environments difficult or who thrive through hands-on activity.
Maypole Farm hosts our vocational, animal-assisted, and forest school programmes alongside academic support delivered in an outdoor or semi-outdoor context.
Home & Community
For children who are not yet ready — or not currently able — to travel to a centre, we bring the session to them. Outreach tutoring is delivered at the young person's home or at an agreed community venue.
Home and community sessions follow the same curriculum and therapy informed approach as our centre-based provision. Many children transition to centre-based learning over time, at their own pace.
